COVID-19 policy

Dear Richard’s Customers,

Richard's is going above and beyond to keep our guests and staff safe.

We have the following protocols in place:

  • Masks are required to be worn by all employees. Masks are now part of their uniform, the same as black button-down shirts, black slacks and chef coats. If you feel we're infringing on anyone's personal freedom, please exercise your personal freedom to dine at another restaurant. There are plenty of restaurants that are not taking this extra precaution for their guests' and staff's safety.

  • Guests who are not vaccinated must wear a mask when entering and exiting the restaurant, and may remove it only when seated. Side note: we also require guests to wear shirts and shoes (and pants).

  • Employees are not allowed to work when showing any signs of illness, per Central District Health Department guidelines.

  • Please don't dine with us if you are feeling ill. We'll save a table for you at a later date.

  • All menus, check presenters, salt & peppers, tables, chairs, banquettes, etc. are wiped down between guests. We're in the habit of doing this, so it makes sense to continue!

  • We have installed The Dust Free® Active Air system in our restaurant. The purifier uses environmentally-friendly oxidizers and an ionization system to safely and effectively purify the air and is proven to kill the COVID virus. Read more about it here.

  • Our kitchen has zero violations with Central District Health (license #44561).

  • We support the Inn at 500’s commitment to be the cleanest and safest hotel in Idaho. They also require their staff to wear masks.

Please don’t hesitate to let a manager know if you have any questions or concerns.

We hope to see you soon, and we appreciate your support of our local, independently-owned restaurant!
