COVID-19 policy

Dear Richard’s Customers,

Boise's Mayor lifted the mask mandate for Boise effective May 14, 2021. Finally, we are returning to normal and look forward to seeing your smiling faces!

We have the following protocols in place:

  • Masks are required of employees who are not fully vaccinated. And fully-vaccinated employees may also wear masks at their own discretion. We are around a lot of people as part of our jobs, so it's an added layer of protection.

  • Masks may be worn by any customer who chooses to do so at their own discretion. If you're going maskless,
we ask that you be fully vaccinated.

  • Employees are not allowed to work when showing any signs of illness, per Central District Health Department guidelines.

  • We ask that guests who are ill don't dine with us. We'll save you a table for a later date.

  • All menus, check presenters, tables, chairs, banquettes, etc. are wiped down between guests. We're in the habit of doing this
after a year, so it makes sense to continue!

  • We have installed The Dust Free® Active Air system in our restaurant. The purifier's unique technologies use environmentally-friendly oxidizers and ionization system to safely and effectively purify the air. Read more about it here.

  • Maintaining our kitchen with zero violations standards with Central District Health (license #44561).

  • Supporting the Inn at 500’s commitment to be the cleanest and safest hotel in Idaho.

Please don’t hesitate to let us know if you have any questions or concerns.

We hope to see you soon, and we appreciate your support of our local, independently-owned restaurant!
